The Hungry Sam Is MAD Charity Carnival turned Pavilion Bukit Jalil into a vibrant hub of food, fun, and community on February 22 and 23. Hosted by popular Malaysian food influencer Hungry Sam, the event wasnโt just about great eatsโitโs about making a difference for the orphans and the elderly.
With food vendors, live performances, and exciting games, attendees got to indulge in delicious local flavours while contributing to a meaningful cause. XZV Studio added to the excitement with interactive booths, where guests tested their skills in a memory card challenge to win prizes, while a classic arcade machine provided nostalgic entertainment for players of all ages.
Beyond the festivities, the carnival was about connection. Many orphans and elderly individuals lack social engagement, and this event gave them a chance to laugh, bond, and feel valued. Whether it was sharing a meal, playing a game, or simply being present, every moment created lasting memories.
A standout moment was seeing strangers come together, united by the simple joy of food and play. Families dined side by side with the elderly, children cheered each other on at game booths, and volunteers worked tirelessly to create an atmosphere of warmth and inclusivity. It wasnโt just an eventโit was a reminder of the power of community.
